Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Oyays, answered in plain English.

Entering the Sweepstakes

Do I need to pay anything to enter?

No. Oyays is completely free. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. A purchase would not improve your chances of winning. This is a free sweepstakes, not a lottery.

How do I enter?

Create a free account at oyays.com/sign-up, then press the Spin button on the homepage. Each press is one official entry.

How many times can I spin per day?

You can spin unlimited times per calendar day (midnight to midnight UTC). There is no daily spin limit.

Do I need an account to spin?

Yes. You need a free account to spin. This lets us enforce the daily entry limit, track your spins for the provably-fair audit, and notify you if you win.

Can I enter by mail instead?

No. Oyays is an online-only sweepstakes. There is no mail-in entry method.

Odds & Winning

What are the odds of winning?

The odds are exactly 1 in 250,000 per spin. Each spin is independent — your previous spins have no effect on future ones. With unlimited spins per day, you can keep spinning to maximize your chances.

What does '1 in 250,000' actually mean?

Our server generates a random number between 0 and 249,999 for each spin. If that number is exactly 0, the spin wins. There is one winning value out of 250,000 possible values. The odds are fixed and cannot be changed.

Is there a winner every day?

We award one prize per calendar day. If no spin hits the winning number on a given day, no prize is awarded that day. The giveaway resets at midnight UTC regardless.

Can I win more than once?

You can win up to once per calendar day and up to three times in any rolling 30-day period.

What happens if two people win at the same time?

Only the first eligible winning spin of the day is awarded the prize. If a second winning spin occurs after the daily prize has already been claimed, it is recorded as a "pool-forced loss" in the audit log. This is disclosed in our Official Rules.

Prizes & Shipping

What is the prize?

Each day's prize is one Needoh® brand squishy toy (specific style selected by Oyays), with an approximate retail value of $10.00 USD. The exact style may vary day to day.

Is shipping really free?

Yes. We cover standard domestic shipping to any valid U.S. address. There are no hidden fees.

How long does shipping take?

After your claim is verified, we purchase and ship your prize. Expect delivery within 5–10 business days of claim verification.

What countries can receive prizes?

Prize shipping is currently limited to the 50 United States and Washington D.C. International players are welcome to spin for fun but are not eligible to receive prizes.

Can I choose which Needoh I get?

Not currently. The specific Needoh style for each day is selected by Oyays. We try to rotate through different styles to keep things interesting.

What if my prize arrives damaged?

Contact us at support@oyays.com with a photo and we will make it right.

Accounts & Privacy

What information do you collect?

We collect an anonymous session ID, a hashed (not raw) version of your IP address for fraud detection, and — only if you win — the name, email, and shipping address you provide in the claim form. See our full Privacy Policy.

Do you sell my data?

No. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.

How do I delete my account?

Contact us at support@oyays.com and we will delete your account and associated data as required by applicable law.

Can I create multiple accounts?

No. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent the daily entry limit is prohibited and will result in disqualification.

Fairness & Verification

How do I know the results are fair?

Every spin result is generated by HMAC-SHA256(serverSeed, sessionId + ":" + nonce) and reduced to a number in 0–249,999. We publish a SHA-256 commitment of the server seed before any spins happen each day, then reveal the seed after the day ends so you can verify every result yourself.

Can Oyays change the result after I spin?

No. The server seed is committed (its hash is published) before any spins happen. Once committed, changing the seed would change the hash, which you can verify. This makes retroactive manipulation cryptographically detectable.

How do I verify my spin?

After the day ends and the seed is revealed, go to the fairness page, paste your Spin ID, and we will recompute the result for you. You can also do it yourself with any HMAC-SHA256 tool.
